Using Roblox Studio, campers will learn game design, 3D modeling, and scripting to create their own interactive worlds. By the end of the week, they’ll have built an epic multiplayer "Capture the Flag" experience!

Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s Camp has put kids in charge–allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, stop-motion animation, coding & gaming, sports & recreation, maker crafts, water play, baking, and more. As children are empowered to make their own choices at camp, they discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–learning to course correct and trust themselves as they go. Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. Either way, any unused Passes are automatically refunded at summer’s end. Ages: 4–12 | Lunch, snacks & all hours (8am–6pm) included.

The days stretch out in front of each child, waiting to be filled with adventure, good friends, and just plain fun. Our summer camps provide each child with the opportunity to fill his or her summer days with diverse experiences and activities. Creative play, arts and crafts, academic review, sports, picnics, and bike days, will provide all students with a memorable summer.

Throughout all of our programs, campers work with their instructors and fellow actors to explore all aspects of the dramatic arts. Our award-winning “Theatre in the Park” programs offer opportunities for young thespians to create props, costumes, and sets for an outdoor performance on the final day of camp. Campers enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor activities as they learn how to create interesting and exciting characters, project and enunciate, and put on a show! Campers can also find opportunities to learn about specific types of storytelling through performance, from improvisation to puppetry to music. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Campers work on building the 2026 VEX Competition robot and to participate in the competition game play. This camp is only recommended for focused and motivated students who are willing to solve open ended problems and enjoy the competitive spirit. Campers work in groups of 4-5 to build the 2026 VEX IQ Competition robot. This requires completion of the VEX Battle of the Bots Camp, or passing a 1 hour skills assessment prior to registering for the camp.

Campers learn to create games and advanced applications using the Scratch programming language. They’ll integrate functions, custom code blocks, and physical components into their projects while also gaining other important skills like flowcharting, and principles of electrical engineering. Campers will learn to develop games similar to Flappy Birds, Pac-Man, and other platformer games.

Battle of the Bots introduces campers to programming, sensors, gears, and mechanics in a fun, competitive way! They’ll team up to build robots and compete in challenges like sumo wrestling, tug-of-war, and head-to-head combat. By the end of the week, they’ll test their skills to see who can build the best battle bot—this camp is a prerequisite for the VEX IQ Robotics Competition Camp.
