At Artisans Stables we strive for excellence in riding skills, horsemanship, and safety. All of our horses are well versed in teaching beginners—building their confidence as they learn—but they are also suitable for those ready to compete in rated show series. Our team of trainers has been developing great riders and horses with a goal oriented approach on the ‘A’ circuit shows for over 20 years. Our trainers’ ability to motivate while maintaining professionalism and high standards of sportsmanship is what makes us so successful.

Cevalo Riding Academy

Cevalo offers a supportive, hands-on learning environment for riders of all ages and abilities – beginner through advanced – with lessons that cover horsemanship, dressage, jumping, and cross-country. Whether it's your first time in the saddle or you've been riding for years, our friendly and well-trained school horses and experienced instructors will help you build confidence and develop your horsemanship and riding skills.

Free Heart Stables

Free Heart Stables welcomes all ages and skill levels into our lesson program. Private and semi-private lessons are available depending on rider’s skill level. We welcome adults and kids to begin their riding journey with us or return to riding on our safe, quality lesson horses. Riding can be a great way to increase fitness, improve mental health, and meet new friends. If you are already riding or even have your own horse, we would be happy to be a part of your continued journey. Whether you are just getting started on your riding journey or are already accomplished we are here to help you!

Garrod Farms

Our lessons are provided in both English and Western styles. We recommend that all students begin with Western style lessons; they may switch to English riding when the instructor deems them ready. All of our instructors are CHA-Certified, therefore trained in safety management, as well as teaching techniques.

Heather Hill Riding Center

Heather Hill Riding Center LLC's program is highly individualized; our fundamental philosophy is based on excellence in well-rounded horsemanship. We primarily offer training in English riding, jumping, and trails. However, many of our students learn to ride Western and drive the ponies. Underlying all our instruction, students work to understand the horse's body language and effective communication between horse and rider.

Los Gatos Farms

We offer both English and Western riding lessons for the beginner, intermediate, or more advanced rider. Working with our trainers, you or your child can experience trail riding, dressage and jumping. We provide opportunities to participate in our I.E.A. team or to travel to local schooling shows. We also offer basic horsemanship and ground handling lessons for folks who love horses but are not ready or interested in riding.

Page Mill Pastures

Lesson appointments available Tuesdays through Sundays at various times. The length is 11/2 hours. Horsemanship skills are encouraged and taught within the lesson if desired (i.e. grooming, saddling, catching the horse, feeding). All lessons are taught privately at first to benefit the student and their mount, but group options are available going forward.

Round Meadow Farm

Round Meadow Farm offers instruction at all levels, and we prefer to custom tailor our training programs to meet our individual client’s needs. This includes the opportunity to compete at all levels, with a strong focus on showing in Northern California.

Seven Oaks Farm

We have dressage schoolmasters, school horses for beginners, and offer dressage training and horseback riding lessons. You can train on your horse, or take lessons on ours, to get the feel of a new movement or to borrow when your horse needs some time off.

Vancouver Outdoors Society

Outdoor experiential education and character-building lessons for youth ages 12-18 years old on every Saturday.

Victoria Dye Equestrian

Private, semi-private and group lessons are available Tuesday – Sunday at Westwind Community Barn.

Webb Ranch

The Webb Ranch Riding School offers a comprehensive program for beginning and intermediate riders. Never ridden? No problem. Haven’t ridden in years? No problem. Need a refresher course? No problem. We pride ourselves in teaching our students in depth horsemanship that will stay with them. From our newest students who are learning the basics to our long term students who are enjoying a more in depth experience with our wonderful horses…we love it all!

Whispering Creek Equestrian Center

Whispering Creek Equestrian Center offers lessons for general horsemanship, dressage, hunter jumpers, behavior modification and starting of horses.

Windy Hill Equestrians

Our lesson program is tiered to accommodate all levels of riding. Each tier has specialized lessons, horses, programs and prices. Instructors will let riders know when they are ready to move up but there is no obligation to do so.
