Virtual Santa Run Silcon Valley

Through the thickest and toughest of weather, Santa was able to persevere and deliver every present on his nice list, so in the spirit of Old St. Nick the Santa Run Silicon Valley will go virtual during these unprecedented times due to COVID. You will still receive your festive shirt, precious race medal, and SWAG item* but now you’ll be able to design and run your 5K in the comfort of your own neighborhood!

Pick up your shirt, race medal, and buff* for the Santa Run Silicon Valley at our Packet Pick-Up hosted by Sports Basement, Sunnyvale (1177 Kern Ave):
- Friday, December 18 – 11:00am to 7:00pm
- Saturday, December 19 – 11:00am to 7:00pm
Join us at packet pick-up to get 20% off at Sports Basement for showing your race bib. We’ll see you there!

For 8 years, the Santa Run Silicon Valley has supported the beloved traditions of Christmas in the Park and Downtown Ice with our fun, holiday event. The health and safety of everyone involved has always been our top priority. Now, as the world battles COVID-19, our concern for the running community has been heightened even further and is impacting every decision we make. For this reason and after discussions with local health experts the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation, who founded and produces the event, has made the determination that the Santa Run will go forward as a “virtual run”.
While we are saddened to not be able to see 5,000 participants in their holiday attire gather in downtown San Jose to celebrate this Christmas tradition together, the health and safety of our community comes first. We value your support and are working hard to make sure we deliver a great virtual experience along with some fun, festive race swag!
