Take your Scratch skills to the next level! In this course, students will dive deeper into game design and advanced programming concepts while building exciting projects like "Deep Sea Chase", "Bounce Battle", "Monkey Mayhem", "Flying Donuts", and "Maze Craze".
Students will push beyond the basics, mastering custom blocks, advanced conditionals, complex variables, nested loops, cloning, broadcasts, timers, scoring systems, and multi-level game logic. They’ll learn how to design smooth gameplay, implement collision detection, and add polished animations and sound effects. By debugging and optimizing their code, students will strengthen problem-solving skills and gain the mindset of a real game developer.
This course is designed for students already comfortable with Scratch basics (sequencing, loops, simple conditionals) and ready to take on more challenging projects. Code For Fun instructors are experts in computer science and strive to make every session fun and engaging for all students.
