Rail Fair 2026 at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont, California will be held on Memorial Day Weekend: MAY 23, 24 and 25. Bring your family and enjoy trains of all sizes, from a variety of model and live steam trains, to a full-size locomotive and train. This event is full of fun for train enthusiasts of all ages! So much fun that some families come all 3 days! Attractions will include operating model trains of different sizes, displays by train museums from across California, historic train car display, live music, train rides, tours of the historic Patterson House, family games, a toddler area,, and the children's Train Book Library. Everything is included with the price of admission, except the Cafe and face painting. You can purchase food and treats at the Cafe, or bring your own picnic.
Rail Fair is a fundraiser for The Railroad Museum at Ardenwood,, operated by the all volunteer, nonprofit SPCRR in partnership with Ardenwood Historic Farm. Admission prices are $16 for Adults (18+), $14 for Seniors (62+), $13 for Children (4-17), and Free for ages 3 and under. Parking is also Free. Ardenwood Historic Farm is located at 34600 Ardenwood Boulevard in Fremont, near the intersection of I-880 and Hwy 84. For general information call 510-544-2797. NOTE: The LAST DAY to purchase Advance tickets is Friday, May 22, however tickets will still be available at the gate (credit only). Rail Fair hours are 10 am to 4 pm each day.
