AoPS Academy Saratoga Summer 2026

Students get ahead with exploratory summer camps in math, science, and language arts. Activity-based learning sparks students' curiosity and helps them prepare for rigorous academic year courses. 

What do we mean by “Problem Solving”?
The idea to take a hard problem you’ve never seen before, break it up into manageable pieces, and then try different approaches to solve each piece. 

• An Engaging Problem-Solving Approach: Presenting students with unfamiliar problems and guide them through the problem-solving process.
• Empowering Independent Discovery: Encourage independent and collaborative discovery of concepts instead of just presenting rules.
• Guided Whole-Class Discussions: Engage in whole-class discussions with guiding questions to help students find solutions.
• Fostering Problem-Solving Skills: Challenge students with problems that require combining known concepts to unveil new understandings, fostering problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Course Format

• Class Structure: Our two-week camps meet for three hours per day and can be easily scheduled back-to-back for a full day experience.
• Student Collaboration: Students join a problem solving community of like-minded peers to tackle challenging problems and topics.
• Expansive Curriculum: In addition to practicing core concepts from the academic year, students will also discover new topics beyond the standard curriculum.
• Quality Instructors: Summer camps are taught by the same expert instructors that guide students through our academic year courses.
