Bair Island Volunteer Work Day - Peninsula Open Space Trust

*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 03/03/2022
Join Peninsula Open Space Trust and San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory for this fun and unique opportunity to volunteer at Bair Island! This special volunteer activity has the capacity for approximately 20 volunteers. Volunteers will be guided by SFBBO’s staff and POST Volunteers, and you will spend the morning weeding invasives, or planting native species that will support Bair Island’s ecosystem. Spots are limited, so RSVP only if you are sure you can attend. We will release more details closer to the date of the event. Keep an eye out for an email containing information about what to bring, wear, etc! Please also note that this activity is best for children ages 14+. All minors must be accompanied by adults for the entirety of the event. As Bair Island is a preserve, there are no dogs allowed. Thank you!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This event is part of POST’s community event series. These events are open to the general public and POST donors alike, and we hope you will join us! We also curate a separate series of private events for our donor community. Find out more about how you can support POST here: openspacetrust.org/support.
